I hope this f*****g tanks at box office. Even if it doesnt there is no way Hearn is letting King Connor Benn go near a live talent.
At this stage Benn will be put in with anyone that raises big money. Benn vs the top names in the division isn't that, since he's no good.
Yeah, I know I meant when he eventually goes in front of the board he will get hit hard if he has already gone around the system to fight abroad beforehand.
Once Benn comes through this 'huge test', he will rip through the top Brits; Ricky Hatton, Junior Witter, Eamon Magee then head down under to take on Anthony Mudine live on DAZN Ozzy Osbourne Box Office before cleaning out the division in a unification fight with Pauli Malignaggi in Vegas. Three years down the line, Amir Khan will be in his sights followed by Kell Brook a year later. Can even see Connor Henn being the man to face Canelo in his 151st fight.
Yeah except worse as at least one can make argument that Khan was/on his way to being a world class boxer, thats never going to be said about Benn.
Ahh right, yep .. digging a bigger hole if they go thro with it. I don't think June 3 will go ahead, but if it does it'll be interesting to see what happens, if anything, to his trainer(s) and the rest, even EH.
Drugs or no drugs all Benn fights is 40/50 year olds or people who haven't had a fight for three years
Vicious rumor that Benn was going to lure Pac out of retirement.....Despite the drugs stuff. It seemed to be gaining traction and was reported on a few media outlets.
