They would never do that. Bradley would box his ears off.

Good shot variety going forward and he's settling down trying to box a bit but 16 fights is it and he still has a lot of work to do. He still takes too many head clean shots. Any with a decent counter hook who can handle his punch power probably stops him

Hes a fun fighter but don't expect him to challenge for world honors.

Skeete is absolutely shot - I think Connor would iron him out after having is head jabbed off for 3 rounds

I think he should keep on ticking over and then fight for the British maybe at the end of next year

the kelly fight is a bad move imo plus he’s inline to face avanysan again, I don’t think he can pull out a 2nd time

Slight improvements to his game in his last couple of fights, which should be expected. He might continue to improve, and even though he probably won't go on to be great or anything he might be in some great fights at least with his all action style and his father's genes.

It's a shame Eggington isn't still at welterweight. That would be a ding-dong and a half.

Skeete v Benn is so good on paper. I agree that I’d have Skeete favourite. But he has indeed regressed since the Gavin fight and seems to have very poor punch resistance.

Wouldn’t be the worst opponent if Sims felt it was time to stick Benn in with a quality boxer. Like I said I think Skeete wins comfortably with his size and skills but if Benn lands he probably will stop him.

Would be a great fight for the fans.

this kid should target kell brook

brook is shot to bits, benn jr is not getting any younger, its a no brainer and does the all important 'numbers' for the accountants on here

Nah Kell is on a completely different level and he’s massive. Don’t forget Kell sized up relatively well with Golovkin. Benn isn’t even a Welter really. He’s tiny. Even shot Brook would KTFO Benn brutally.

I know Golovkin smashed him, I’m referring simply to his physical size.

Brook clearly beat the stripper in his last fight even though he looked poor and the stripper has since gone on to smash up Jeff Horn.

Brook has regressed but some of the overreactions as to how shot he is are questionable.

Fact remains that he is way, way, way bigger than Benn and could probably beat him with his jab alone. Brook is a sharpshooter he would ****ing destroy Benn. Honestly don’t think we’ll have another poster sharing your opinion on this.

I don't think he holds a shot very well to be honest. He always looks a little buzzed almost when he gets hit by a clean shot, he can't walk through opponents firepower if you know what I mean.

    There's a reason he's been matched against non-punchers imo.

I still think the first real decent live opponent, who doesn't fear his surname and can handle his power is going to flatten him. Let's be honest if your a decent British level operator and you watch him fight, you have to be chomping at the bit to fight him as he brings a name and exposure.

I'm just waiting for the right opponent before I back against him odds wise.

That comment was made after Skeete got KTFO by an Argentine club fighter. Both are vulnerable so still an interesting matchup. There are loads of undefeated prospects for Benn at welter and plenty of great domestic fights like Nurse or Garton but I agree his handlers will probably keep him away from anything with a boxing pulse and steer him towards an undeserved title shot (#10 WBA). He was pretty popular with the crowd on Saturday night so Matchroom will want to hang onto him for a while. Trolling Khan at this stage would be a great move.

That club fighter is now 21-2, and in fairness something of an unknown quantity, both then and now.

We all know how cr*p Conor is though, and I'd still back Skeete to do a number on him.

Take a closer look at his record and you will see I meant that literally.

Well, Sergio Martinez fought in some of those same clubs early in his career.

Everybody starts somewhere. Unfortunately Ramirez is nowhere near the level of Martinez.
