After all this the U.F.C. will probably give him a shot at 170 title after his third Diaz fight. I'll be amazed if there's another fight with Nate Diaz in the offing as I've heard Dana White constantly say he's not in favour of em doing it again,for what it's worth I though Conor won their last fight on the account of how many times he dropped and hurt Diaz although that said another ten seconds in that last fight in the final round and Conor McGregor was outta there,how important that bell came for McGregor at that time was unbelievable in terms of his career.

Conor had what 2 guys pull out of fights with him? Why would he not fight a replacement? They pay him millions no matter who he fights. and in both cases the replacement was not prepared and a step down from the original opponent yet in the last instance Conor still lost. Conor will get to approve his next opponent so if he wants Diaz III he will get it or if he wants a shot at WW title he will get that.
For what it's worth I can't stand the man,all I'm saying is one has to admire what he does,after getting strangled by Nate at 170 he got his rematch at the same weight and I was sure the same thing would happen which it nearly did but he seemed to be able to ride out the tiredness better avoided all take downs until the end where I'd say he was seconds away from losing. Of course he's favoured that's not in doubt but he does deliver,I never fancied him against Dos Anjos if theyed have fought but looking back the way Alverez beat Dos Anjos and the way Conor beat Alverez then he probably would of won,quite simply though him and Khabib has to happen now considering Khabib is fit to go,now that's a fight I wanna see cause whilst Khabib would struggle standing up to Conor if he gets hold of him then I reckon he'll just pound him,as good as Conor is at striking,Khabib is as strong on the ground. Conor will defend the FW title against Frankie Edgar. Khabib will have to fight Tony Ferguson. Conor will then fight Jose Aldo or Nate Diaz. Khabib will have to fight Eddie Alvarez. Conor will then fight Khabib. I'm rooting for Khabib anyway but I probably won't like Conor anymore because I think he's going to be following the Mayweather business model from this point onwards. It's a 50-50 fight IMO. Conor will just get better, though. With that said, he's still going to be very vulnerable against the best ground-game fighter in MMA in Khabib. Khabib's stand up game is not very good, though. He ambushes his way in and that's too risky of a game against Conor.
You do realise that if Conor fights at 145 again he MUST fight the interim title holder Aldo don't you ? The whole point of an interim title is to keep the division running while the true champion is out (generally by injury but in Conor's case fighting 3 times healthy in other weight divisions ). You also do realise that Aldo just comfortably beat Edgar ? If the UFC were to let Conor defend his 145 title against anyone other than Aldo that would be completely ridiculous even by their standards.
