I think what Conner has done is outrageously stupid and wrong, no doubts about it.

But after watching this video it looks like he's gonna come out of this shinning like the "notorious" anti hero he already is but even bigger. This really fits his "mythology" of a kinda mad trailblazing loose canon especially after the whole Floyd thing. It's been on mainline news everywhere. Once the dust settles in 6 months or so Dana I believe will be quietly stoked about the whole thing and that Khabib fight if it happens...is gonna be a huge promotional ton mischievous chaos. This is Conner doing what Floyd does best but in his own "Notorious" way.

Schaubs insight was the best and immediately along the lines of what I was thinking upon reading about this crap. In a few months time this will be all but forgotten(sheeple have short attention spans) and if anything will be used to build a future fight. It's also very doubtful that there will be any charges or lawsuits against McGregor. Despite taking the moral high ground McGregor is far too big of an asset for the UFC for that to happen. If any fighter's complain they'll be payed hush money.

 

How in the hell do you have the audacity to pretend to know how large groups of people behave in stressful situations? I just watched Dana on I think an ESPN show, and yeah they were talking about all the possible civil suits including the UFC suing conner.

Mulled over this more and the fact that Holloway wasn't going to be cleared anyway has only furthered my suspicions that this was just a PR stunt(gone too far) How would they have saved the main event then? They'd have to scrap Chiesa/Pettis fight regardless. I agree that nothing will come of this... But as a fan it's becoming tougher and tougher to take the UFC seriously.

 

Need to see proof as Dana white lies all the time,if he says a fight ain’t happening it’s the opposite,all we see here is the usual shaky mobile phone coverage inside the bus,no pics of cuts from glass,damaged eyes ect.
