    Mcgregor was taking an overly keen interest in Taylor's fight yesterday and made his intentions clear in the dressing room after asking her what she was doing tonight, Katie replys: "just at the hotel" Mcgregor responds "I will hit you up".

    This is the real McGregor. Classy guy, very respectful and well spoken. The McGregor that is used to sell a fight is just a character, Khabib and his fans were too autistic to realise that .

    Mcgregor was in the dressing room before the fight to give a 'pep talk' then sat ringside barking instructions all through the fight and then ended up hanging around like a bad smell afterwards. All from a guy who got slapped silly by Mayweather and decked by a wrestler.

    Oh no, there is already too many stories of Boxers beating up on the opposite gender when on a night out. I dont want tomorrows headlines being Katie Taylor has beaten Connor up after an argument in town.

    Isn't that more of a mutual pr assist rather than anything creepy though? It's all taking place on camera and it's being shared all over the place after all.

    Fact is McGregor is a big name in the US and his presence is going to give Katie additional exposure in the US market. Whoever organised his presence there knows what they're doing.

    Quite possibly, I was more alluding to Conor giving Katie and her team advice with no respect for the fact she is an Olympic gold medallist and 6 time world champion as well as a unified world champion in the professional ranks.

    Again, if I were her manager or coach I'd be happy to nod, smile and think of the news stories and page impressions that Conor brings with him.

    Katie is a real talent with just a few years left to monetise her considerable gifts. Any shortcut that's on offer, such as Conor lending her a bit of his reach, is probably a good thing.

    McGregor put her over big time. Dude has like 29 mil instagram followers and he posted all this stuff on Taylor. You cant buy that kind of exposure.

    Definitely agree it's just a shame she has zero personality to assist with that monetisation. After fights with Persoon and Cameron there will be nothing much left for her to do at lightweight and there are no big fights above her with previous Taylor victim Mckaskill top of the division.
