He's more of a natural 155 lb fighter at this point. Going from 145 to 170 is a lot. Kell Brook moved up 13 lbs and people say he's small compared to Golovkin. McGregor going up 170 is a huge jump and he's carrying a lot more weight than before.

It's like Kell Brook moving up to 175 because he walks around that weight. Still not his division. And 170 is not McGregor's division.

Nate Diaz demanded 170 for this fight. McGregor agreed to it because he lost. Next time they meet, it's going to be at 155 and McGregor will be in better condition.

McGregor tore his ACL against Holloway.... Was out for a year. That's why he slowed down.

His situation isn't comparable to Kell Brook. Like I said he wasn't moving up, he still had to cut weight, just not as much as he used to do. A much smaller fighter like Brook's natural fighting weight is well below 175. Mcgregor's fight weight is around there. He was 173 2 days before his 145 fight with Chad Mendes and was 177 the week of Diaz 1. He only made those insane 30 pound cuts to FW through the use of diuretics and IVs. Now that is not in play I don't think he will ever fight in that weightclass again. 155 will also be a tough cut as well. I expect down the road he may campaign at 170. There are guys currently competing at that weight who are smaller than Mcgregor.

Every one of those guys were scared. Mendes wasn't scared but he felt the power on that first kick to the chest

The only roadblock for mcgregor is khabib. I garuntee they gonna try to knock khabib off or just keep him around but he won't get a shot at the belt, no money in it if he wins.
Look what bellator did to frodo. Ufc will do something similar to khabib.

If you don't like MMA, why are you here? You clearly don't know anything about the sport other than running your mouth.

Nothing wwrong with his cardio he's fighting a bigger man at a heavier weight and staying in the pocket for 5 min RDS.

He saw the finish and was throwing till the end showed massive heart I thought and yes won me over again.

Put a boxer in and get them to defend take downs and throw a few kicks they'll gas just the same

People don't even understand the magnitude of what mcgregor just did skipping two weights without a tuneup, which has never been done before.

He fought a lightweight at welterweight though. Both guys just not cutting weight. Please don't insult our intelligence by suggesting Nate Diaz is a legit 170 lb fighter because he isn't. Conor did well and beat nate in a close tough fight and showed plenty of heart but we all know everyone in the top 10 at 170 would have no trouble with McGregor.

Guys had several fights at 170, missed weight numerous times at 155, and don't insult my intelligence. Fight night he was a way bigger man. He looked like Canelo vs a 154lbs opponent.
    Also,
How many times has someone successfully jumped two weight classes without a tuneup?
The second fight only proved what I already knew, that mcgregor lost the first fight because of a stupid gameplan. Diaz did nothing other then eat shot after shot. He weathered the storm and tapped out an exhausted man.
Then every fool and his mom said, ohhhh his ground game is so goooood! Ohhhhhh his boxing was so good.
Diaz is a jits guy with limited wrestling and striking with a good chin and serious ***** an good stamina.....no more.

Yep, the big boys at 170lbs would destroy Conor and that's not taking anything away from his performance against Diaz.

Conor will do well at 155lbs having confidence to fight bigger guys than the midgets at 145lbs

He's not claiming to be the man at 170

This was a grudge match and he wanted to prove something

I watched the fight back yesterday and I thought it was even more one sided for CM than I first thought

Diaz had a couple of flurries at the end of the round that landed a few clean shots and one take down. Apart from that he was dominated. Took loads of legs kicks and was put on his ass 5 times ffs.
