    The irony is the likes of Avanesyan and Egis are excellent intermediary opponents to help bridge the gap to the top level. If you're going to match your fighter up with fighters who are common opponents with the guys at the top of the division and then boast you did better against them why not do so against ones who can actually punch or who are active and in their prime? You never know Benn might be able to clip one of the top boys of the division on his best night because they've fought very few punchers too and he can definitely crack so put him in with someone who will prepare him for one of those guys and who can actually punch.

    Yeah Sr. Came back from 2 KO losses and went on to forge a great career for himself. I get that Jr. didn't have the amateur career but the hype machine has been in overdrive and fighting the kind of opposition I mentioned isn't only not too much to ask but it will serve him well.
