Vargas is a good opponent but he took so much damage against Ortiz. I think Benn might stop him here. Otherwise Vargas will bring it and it's a good test for Benn. Still not sold on this guy.

Courtenay vs. Bridges is an absolute disgrace for a world title fight. Bridges is god damn awful. And that's probably a nice description. Courtenay will beat her up and i think Courtenay is pretty bad by herself but tonight she's probably two levels above. Rachel Ball was a world class opponent compared to Bridges.

Farooq vs. Espinoza actually the fight of the night for me. I think Espinoza is pretty good. If he's at full strength this could be a cracker.

 

EBeanie Bridges tits to come out in round 4.

 

This happens with lads without high level amateur boxing fights experience.
When I had saw some from early Bolotņiks fight, I had assumed: dear God, place this lad on pro KB/MT card and not blame him.
I newer had assumed that he might reach even top 200 level in boxrec ranking.
Outcome is : today he is ranked by boxrec #11, IBO #8, IBF #6, WBO #7.
If someone had told me that this ever will happen I then had just laugh.

Guys might learn and improve.

To be honest I don't think she deserves a title shot at all and it irks me slightly that she got it based on her simp fanbase but Courtenay is hardly likable herself so I know who I'd prefer to lose.

 

Benn should jab Vargas to death and use him as a bit of a punchbag. Vargas has taken a fair few beatings in the last few years and he rarely beats anyone above journeyman level.

There was one moment against Formella where Benn left his chin in the air swinging, he got clocked and looked very briefly stunned. He's definitely still a KO waiting to happen and I honestly think he's packing glass.

Once Benn faces a guy who can box, he will lose.

Mckinson jabs his head off. He has made some good improvements though so fair play to him. Just don't like how Matchroom and Sky are talking about Benn fighting Kahn, Brook, Porter, Avanesyan etc when he hasn't fought even a strong British contender.

Eastern European guy with outdated ringwalk music is not what you want for your pro debut, those guys are dangerous.

If that was a British guy playing playing System of a Down he'd be a tomato can, but a dangerous situation here.
