I agree except for the fact that the last Woodley vs Thompson fight was actually entertaining for 3 out of the 5 rounds.
Conor vs Khabib is the fight to make . Most likely that Conor will win by first round KO , if Johnson can get to Khabib and have him hurt then Conor will finish him . Khabib stands right in front of you , head immobile ... tailor made for Conor . Should the fight go past Conor's usual tiring out time / 1.5 rounds , then Khabib should win . No point in Conor - Diaz 3 . Diaz is too slow and should retire , his speech is noticeably slurred now , too many head shots .
Nate Diaz is a stylistic nightmare for Conor Mcgregor. Mcgregor will always and forever struggle against Diaz. If the 3rd fight happens at 155 pounds, Conor will once again go threw hell and back and face adversity all over again. Theres a very good chance he could even lose to Diaz in the third fight. But Despite the huge threat im picking Conor to win the trilogy .
I think Conors punches would have more of an effect on Diaz at 155 though... At 170 he's stiff and his punches don't seem to have the same kind of snap. But yeah, Diaz is always going to be a tough fight for McGregor.
Agreed. Conor at 155 will be more lighter on his feet and more quicker with his hands. Eddie Alvarez said it was not Conors power that surprised him, it was his speed. He didnt know what the hell hit him. Diaz will be saying pretty much the same exact thing at the end of their third fight if it ever happens. 70% chance Conor beats Diaz again IMO
The fight I'm most interested in is against Woodley/Thompson at WW. If he can knock out a third champion in a third weight class that would be an incredible achievement. The LW division is very hot ATM so defending against the top contender would be a great fight as well. That being said I'd be fairly happy if he retired from MMA, left the contenders duking it out and had a retirement fight with Floyd.
Khabib obviously But no way the fat bald greedy pig out of Animal Farm is gonna risk his cash cow against a guy who would likely embarrass him And that's coming from a McGregor fan
That may be so but I love champion vs champion matchups. Agreed entirely with your rant on the first page though, UFC needs to be careful it doesn't go down the boxing path.
I also like champions v champions matchups but only when they are champs who have been dominant and made 3/4/5 or so defences in their own weigh class.
