Khabib won't be given the fight. If he defends his belt after Mayweather it will likely be against Ferguson.
I like Khabib but I am starting to wonder, after all look at how many times he has been injured then he gets a great pop with his dominant win in NYC then misses weight for his eliminator. Either him or Ferguson beat McGregor anyway. The guy is going to make a fool out of himself boxing Mayweather then go back and defend his belt against a full time MMA fighter who presents serious match up problems for him. Let's see how much that vile Dana White loves McGregor after he makes himself and the F.U.C{sic} look really bad. Dana loves anyone who is making him money but could care less when fad passes. Notice how he has not told the tiresome, false story about Rousey beating up 3-4 200 lb men in a movie theatre since her fall from grace.
I hate this but you just watch I bet McGregor won't fight either of Ferguson (the legit no.1 contender imo) or Khabib. You just watch the ufc do the Conor-Nate Diaz fight again. Imo Nate Diaz is inferior to both Ferguson and Khabib, Ferguson is just a better version of Diaz and Khabib would rag doll Diaz for an easy decision imo. Champions should be defending against the top contender.
I don't think Khabib can make the weight class anymore. There really should be a division added between 155 and 170, 15 pounds is too much of a difference in the low weight classes. Guys who struggle to cut to 155 like Khabib, Ferguson, Masvidal, Cerrone etc would be able to compete at optimal condition.
