First off, congratulations to the Hayemaker. Johnny Ruiz has been on the downside for as long as I can remember, and yet he is still an awkward and durable fighter, and a former champ. Haye deserves a lot of credit.

But he cannot follow this up with a fight agaisnt Hopkins or Valuev, especailly after tonight's stinker of a performance agaisnt Jones. He has to do what he has been claiming that he will do for a very long time now, and fight a Klit. Vitaly is almost ready to hang it up, and Haye's fans remain convinced that he has enough to test Wlad's chin, so either fight is a live one by his own estimates and that of his fans. The world wants to see it. Valuev can be given money to step aside, or offered a big contract with the winner.

For my money, I want to see him fight Vitaly, and may the better man win.

Even though I never liked Haye, I congratulate him. I thought the fight was pretty entertaining. I hope that he fights a K brother next b/c that's what all of us boxing fans want. I still don't see Haye beating a Klitschko though. If Ruiz can hit Haye fairly well, BELIEVE ME the Klitschkos will easily hit him. So Cachibatches.......who do you think will win if he fights either Klitschko???

    Vitali by knockout.

Vlad by knockout. Somewhat like Vitali/Hide fight.

    Roy Jones easily beat Ruiz.

I'm sure thats the plan. Don't believe the utter **** people spout about him being afraid of the Klitschko's, it is complete nonsense. Haye is not the type that is going to be scared. That's his ambition, to unify the belts.

Hopefully Valuev won't get in the way but I've a bad feeling he might.

Haye looked like a scared rabbit against Valouev. Haye did not ever bother to fight, just run.

Jones, a former middleweight easily beat Ruiz. Ruiz is not a Klitschko. Haye broke a signed contract with Vlad and an implied with Vitali. Vitali or Vlad will knock Haye out like Vitali did Hide.

The short anser is that I think either Klit will murder him.

A longer answer is that I think that by dominating the cruisers and winning a heavyweight belt and defending it against credible opposition he is developing ATG status in his own right. I don't think he can beat a Klit but be even being in the ring with one, given what he has accomplished andwhat they are, he gives himself and them credibiity.

i think haye hammers either one of them...but only if he fights as the aggressor.....
but first, he has to actually man up and get in the ring.....

i dont much care for Haye being that he pulled out against both already after calling them out.... but how you think they can "murder him" when he is the biggest threat they have ever fought....he is 10 times better than a juan gomez, eddie chambers, arreola, ibragimov, kingpin johnson and for sure than a chagaev. and hits harder than all of them. all these guys made it to the 9th round, most to the 10th,11, distance...haye is gonna get knocked out before that? i think not...for as big as the klits are, their power is overrated. hayes chance of koing them are no better or worse than them koing haye. difference has been so far, the klits arent scared and want to fight...haye has made it clear that he dont want to fight them

I am not sure what side you are on, and kind of think you are in the middle with me, but I will tell you that Haye is NOT 10 times better than guys like Gomez Ibragimov and Chagaev. Ibragimov and Chagaev won heavyweight belts by facing comparable opposition, and Gomez defended a crusier belt 10 time and had good victories at heavy. None have been stopped by a super middleweight.

What did Haye actually do to deserve such recognition? He beat the giant slouth and the quiet now past his best man Ruiz.

He still hasn't beat anyone of credit.

From what I heard on the radio, it was entertaining. Haye should not fight Valuev again, but it will probably happen. If so, it should be in the UK this time. That's a WBA mandatory over with, if I was Haye I would go for an Audley type fight now, if a Klitschko cannot be made soon.

I think Haye has the skills and power to beat the Klits. From what I've seen so far against opponents half the class of the Klits he's looked very good. Whether he steps that up is another thing. If he went out aggressive throwing haymakers I don't think the Klits would cope too well with that.

The only things is we haven't really seen how good Haye is yet, it's not like he has a really good name on his resume.
