Dawson doesn't have the chin or defensive skills to cope at heavyweight. Given that by bulking up he would lose his speed, something Hopkins wouldn't rely on, I think Hopkins would fair far better at HW.
Whoever Dawson's promoter is, i remember him saying years ago that Chad would be going to heavyweight sometime in his career.. Comparing him to Allan Green at the time...
