I constant head movement during a bought a good idea, I noticed Mike likes to dempsey roll when moving towards an opponent. Would like some input on this, I don't want to tire myself out, but I also don't wanna be hit

There is a time and a place. Don't be predictable.

As with anything in boxing, do what you have to do, when you have to do it. If you need to move your head to avoid a punch, or create a new angle, do so. If you are doing it for the sake of it - you will get your ass handed to you.

If you don't want to get hit, look at more options, don't focus on just headmovement - it is not the elixer of a sound defense! There are more ways than just head movememt to avoid punches - think range, defensive posture, footwork, angles, punch output etc. To build a soilid D, you need to be able to rely on several options.

To put it simply, if you solely focus on rolling punches on the way in, you will get ripped to peices by any half decent bodypuncher, or you will get timed to death by anyone with good lateral movement

The Head doesnt move, if it does you lose Oral Stability therefore losing Balance. Its the Bodys Joints that make the Head change direction and Feet. If the chin drops more than 15% it stops the Diaphram from working by up to 50% which affects the eyes ability to Focus, as the eyes work of Oxygen as a primary source.

First of all. You should never stand still, never. If you are so tired that you can´t move your uper body then take the middle of the ring use your hard jabs when he/she comes to you to keep ém away and breath. Then when you get some stamina back start moving again. Stand still is a good way of getting knocked out

Im talking Posture in relation to Gravity the Natural way. All great Fighters and Athletes have it. The body is there to support the Head not the other way round, thats why we walk other species dont.

If you come foward and move your head alot to the right or lean your head to the right with your posture.... DON'T DO IT!!!

Learn to move and slip your head to the left like Tyson for example. It'ds ok to slip to the right but roll under straight away or slip back to the left again. The more you lean to the right the more open you are to right hands. I see it all the time.

You should also learn to move away in angles with your footwork when you need to and then you'll be a very difficult target..... even if your a come foward fighter. Jut practice it alot.
