    That was excellent fight.

I thought it was a close fight, but the difference maker was Stanley (in blue) being able to repeatedly get off the ropes by turning you, pushing you back, or pivoting around you.

You seem most effective when you have your man against the ropes.

When you get your man against the ropes I recommend putting your lead foot in between his legs, since it makes it harder for your opponent to escape off the ropes by stepping around you or pivoting out, and also slows him down and messes with his balance.

You can also block your opponent from escaping by sticking your arm straight forward. This also creates opportunities to connect with power.

Also, try not to load up as much when you have your guy opponent against the ropes, since You just need to touch your opponent to body first before following it up. A few times You had Stanley on the ropes and loaded up, which gave him just enough time to escape off the ropes.

Here is a video discussing your opponent turning you and a simple defense against it.

Here is Roger Bloodworth working with Adamek a long time pro. At around 10 seconds Bloodworth is showing Adamek how to effectively pivot.

Knowing how to effectively pivot without wasting energy is a game changer against a taller more mobile opponent.

Good luck with your boxing career, since I think you have a fan friendly style.
