some of my boxers used to do it but they all said that it´s difficult when they get hit cause the contacts move a little and can fell out so they usually don´t do it anymore. I never do it. However you should do what feels best for you and if you won´t be able to see the punches coming you should use the contacts cause that is even worse than that you might lose a contatclense (hope I wrote that right now, english is not my first language)

    Ok, speaking from experience here.

I boxed without contacts for two seasons and I'm glad that I did because I now know that when one flies out, I can still box. Of course, I prefer to have them in and eye drops help a lot. They seem fly out when they are dry.

We had a gal in our club that would never spar without them and in the first round of her first fight, both flew out and she was completely lost and got her butt whooped.

    So my advice:
Use eye drops and spar and do your workout occasionally without them in just to get used to it.

If you use soft lenses, thats no problem. I use mine for almost three years in training and sparring with headgear and never lost them. Acuvue 2, two weeks lenses.
Its possible, that fluid (your normal cleaning fluid) might help, but i dunno.

But remember. Havin lenses in gives you another reason not to get hit;)
