Because anybody who does sports on the highest levels knows that it is during training that these drugs should be taken to compliment the rigorous training that you are going through, and at the 7-10day mark before the event, you should already be "slowing down" or risk getting overtrained and getting injured.
My team personally takes 2weeks of "slowing down" before the actual season starts.
Just do some very light drills to keep your glycogen levels high and stuff.

But hey, I only used to play in national collegiate basketball, what do I know about "high level sports" vs these couch potatoes?:hey

Conte is hiding something and taking anyone that will listen to him as fools.
At one point during the Pacquiao-Mayweather failed negotiaions Conte went on record as stating, " I can drive a Mack truck through a 3 day window."
Conte went on to say that for Mosley's fight with DLH, Mosley's last dose of what was being given him came 3 days from the fight.

If Conte is saying something different now, he just wants to see his name in print! :deal

How about you let the testers do their job and as an athlete who is going to be tested, STFU. You do your job and you let the Professional Testers do theirs.

I'm actually all for Year Round Random testing so Floyd needs to get with that program as well as Pac.

And Pac hasn't even done any further testing so until he does anything more than the standard, he is all talk.

I personally don't understand why Pac just won't do the test without Floyd. And let the testers do their jobs because they know more about testing and how to deter and catch cheats than some boxer...unless that boxer has a wicked Chemist with him and then the testers are going to be one step behind.

Forget what they said. You go by the testers. If they are still using urine, which they are, then there is no issue.

They can take Blood, Urine, and Hair.

Just let them do their job if they can back up the reason(s) why they do it.

Yeah. Those two can certainly afford it.

It would be really funny if Pac did Year Round testing and then told Floyd he was waiting for him to do the same. I'm sure Freddie would have a good time with that one.

which is probably the reason why usada stopped testing a known drug cheat mosley and tweetybird featherfist gayweather 18 days before the fight.

if the fraud got knocked out in the second round, i am sure the *****s would be saying the test was not enough.

infact, gay was contented with the 18 days and did not even raise a whimper of protest. it only matters if it is pac.

As I also pointed out Conte believes Manny and Floyd are both cheaters. *******s are too stupid to realize Conte has consistenly said boxing's testing is worthless and that Pedcquiao's performance as he moved up in weight is consistent with that of a PED cheat. I believe Conte is one of the foremost experts in this area and as a man of science, who am I going to believe *******s, *****s, couch fans or somebody who made gold medal olympians, record breaking athletes?

But didn't Pacquiao always agree to like a 17 day cutoff for blood testing (including immediately after the fight?), and an unlimited window for random urines?

and wasn't it urines that caught petey, and nandre? i don't even think olympic athletes are subject to blood testing. . .

Cheers, so it does make sense to test during the training phase rather than at the event.

What makes sense is for the person being tested to never Know when they are going to be tested.

Who gives a **** about what you find after the fight? The damage is done at that point. I can not believe some people want to see Floyd beat so bad that they are willing to have him possibly cheated.

Testing should not be an issue it should be mandatory. And I for one will never support anything other than random testing with out a cutoff for all boxers. I also think the fighters should be financially liable if they cause the cancellation of an event due to testing positive for banned substances.

Yet they all try to argue a cutoff because Conte, someone who made his living off of beating tests, is telling you when you shouldn't test. This is seriously ******ed.. I usually don't use that word but there's honestly no other word to describe it.

It's been done in multiple fights now and NOBODY has complained about it. It has even CAUGHT 2 people with illegal substances BEFORE the fight, yet we want to backtrack and reinstate a cutoff? :patsch
