To me Vitali didn't look good, age is starting to catch up. Too bad there ain't any real good heavies that can take advantage.

hahah not difficult to find? you must be joking, right? who did ever find Johnson? The guy is a slippery spoiler, has excellent defense and a hell of a speedy jab. And yet, he would get countered every time he tried to trow that jab. VK simply shut out KJ for the whole fight... he could have been using his left hook better, as well as left uppercut, but there's really no signs of him slowing down - over 1000 punches, never appeared to be tired.

No, that wasn't my point. It was the particular comment that person made which led me to offer that response.

    Thanks, brother! :good

Didn't realize VK threw 1,000 punches, but not surprised, either.

His eyes were pretty messed up after the fight, though. Not sure if they weren't using the Vaseline or whatever properly, but he will have to be careful of his somewhat fragile (and aging) skin.

Other than that, I thought he looked fit and solid. He is 38, but he still has excellent conditioning and Johnson just didn't want to fight.

Good points and you're right -- Johnson was stunned in one of the later rounds. Thanks for comments! :thumbsup

Kevin for a 23 fight novice did a great job in making a solid champ look bad, he put a nice cut on Klitschkos eye too... VK has lost only twice to good heavy champs and only on injuries.. Kevin was only the second man to take Vitali the distance and he has a lot to be proud of.. Kevin will learn from his first championship fight abroad......
