Tyson made 9 defenses. There were only 4 belts before the WBO came around. Tyson was considered Undisputed before the WBO was in existence.

Wlad has made 18 defenses of 4 of the 5 belts all while beating the #1 ranked fighter in the world (Chris Byrd) for his first belt (IBF). Wlad has the same amount of belts as Tyson had. It's not Wlad's fault that the ABCs keep coming up with titles.
