successful title defenses is the term you are looking for but you did not have it in your limited vocabulary.

Lennox isn't credited with a 'defense' in that fight because he got his Glass Jaw shattered :rofl

Go look up how many defenses Rahman is credited with. It is ZERO.

Nowhere is any fighter credited with an unsuccessful title defense. Just stop. That is not what is shown in record books and you don't have a damn clue as usual.

But he is , as you saw in the link I provided you.

He did not successfully make the defence.

Walk away. For your own good.

You said Raham was not a defence for Lewis.

Then how did Rahman win the belts?

Lennox is not credited with a defense of those belts. End of story. I already showed you how Rahman isn't credited with a defense when he lost the rematch. Neither was Leon Spinks in the rematch with Ali or Johanesson in the rematch with Patterson and it goes on and on.

Wlad has *never* been the Undisputed HW Champion. NEVER. Tyson HAS. Fact is, NO other HW who called himself a champion didn't get a beat down during Tyson's reign. THIS IS A FACT. The same cannot be said of Wlad.

    Tyson > Klitschko

I lived through the Holmes era, it's when I first started following boxing avidly. And let me tell you, the guys Holmes beat, outside of an aging Ken Norton, were not great fighters, no better than the top guys today.

I'm going to do something that I just can't believe....I'm going to agree with Dino..I'm not trying to **** anyone off but when Tyson was headed into his fight with Buster Douglas that was a title defense.

walking into the ring means your defending your titles unless for one reason or another they aren't up for grabs (missing weight comes to mind) you can win or lose a title defense

after it's over and the champ wins you call it a successful title defense, Lennox losing to Rahman is an unsuccessful title defense but no one uses this much because while you can have 10 or 15 or 20 successful title defenses you won't likely have more than 2 or 3 unsuccessful Title defenses. So we just shorten it to title defense and add the good ones ignore the bad ones

here ends the last time I think I'll ever agree with Dino...lol
