Bit late maybe?!?!?!!! Should have done this 5yr ago!

"I am a nobody as far as America goes," Mundine said.
"I am 35 years old and it's now or never. That's why I'm going to America.
"I haven't informed anybody. I'll sit down with my father (and trainer, Tony) after my next fight (Garth Wood on December 8) and work things out."
Hollywood megastar and close ally Russell Crowe is in Mundine's corner.
Crowe has suggested a move to Miami, where Mundine would receive tutelage under legendary trainer Angelo Dundee.
But Mundine's preference is to be closer to America's gateway to Australia, Los Angeles.

"Russell has been a great help. He is keen for me to train with Angelo, but he is five hours from LA, which is on the other side of the country." Mundine said.
"I would like to talk to Freddy Roach, who is based in Hollywood, and do a deal with him."
Roach boasts an impressive stable of fighters, having trained Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya and current world champion Manny Pacquiao.
Mundine likened his move to the US to good friend and Sydney nightclub king John Ibrahim.
"If you wanna be there, you gotta be among the action," he said.
"You can't be the king of the Cross (Kings Cross), if you're not part of the action."
The trash-talking boxer has finally made good his promise to fight the best in the world.
"I can't expect to fight the likes of Pacquiao or (Floyd) Mayweather or somebody of their calibre," Mundine said.
"I have to work my way up the ladder. I'm willing to fight (Antonio) Margarito (who went down to Pacquiao last week in Dallas), Miguel Cotto or anyone else for that matter.
"I started boxing when I was 25 and I'm still relatively young. I've had 42 fights and I'm still yet to be beaten up or bruised.
Standing in his way is little known New South Welshman Garth Wood. The pair will face-off December 8 at Sydney's Acer Arena,.

With an upcoming fight he was due to repeat his bull**** again about fighting overseas like he has for the last 5 years, they may as well just use his one bull**** rant and just change the date details for the article each year.

This release wouldn't be timed to coincide with an upcoming Mundine Circus event would it ?

If Mandy makes a trip to the USA in 2011 it'll be to visit Disneyland.

He should probably play the "I wanna go into politics" card instead of the "go to the US" one, as this ones been done to death, while he's only used the politics one about 23 or so times.

This is just a dumb ploy to help get dumb ****s to buy his next joke fight with another promise of world domination.

Angelo Dundee. ****in hell. I can't see an 89 yr old man helping a fighter anytime soon. Good one Anthony.

Thats just Mundine trying to play out his Ali fantasies.

He has already played out his RJJ fantasies by having his dad train him, while having one of Roy's songs as his ring enterance music.

Don't forget Anthony dabbled in a Roy Jones line beard for a while when he fought.
