Mundine usually hits reset on his career late December early Jan. He is a touch bit early this year.

....normally warming up with his bull**** and fanciful promises. All this is followed in late Jan/early Feb with the usual "...next year, man!!!"

It all sounds a bit like they got pissed and raved on and on about what Anthony should have been doing over the last decade, and then applied it to the rest of his days in his fading spotlight of Auzzie boxing. Or, perhaps, the sales for the Garth Wood's showdown have not yet filled the first row at ringside, and the team's pocket is starting to show a lack of coin, so the big talk starts again?

I think Anthony is very skilled, but his age is a definite problem and a big reducer regarding him maintaining super fitness, strength, stamina, instinct, reaction-response times, etc. etc. His time in the USA spotlight might too late.

The Internationals names that he "might" get to fight, hopefully would at least be as good as him, maybe having had some conditioning and hardening with fighting USA current hardmen.......typically though, I am feeling in reality, that the research by Team Mundine will already be contacting USA retired names, that are old and no longer harmful and skillful....you know, of the fighting prowess and genre of previous Oz champs like, Ellis, Waters, Taylor..etc when they fought Anthony....

This call to fight the recently beaten Antonio Margaritas, is it just a 'I think I am up it talk for fans?" ...rabbid talk about him leaving the planned safety trail career he has always marched down ? I tend to think Margaritas would be no easy push over for Anthony....Anthony is five years his senior...it is a fight I would love to see.

Summary: it is all interesting......but not very convincing.

we shall soon see if he dont relocate to the states next year then he can kiss his PPV ratings good bye, no ones going to contuine in beliving anything he says if he cant keep his word with this one and fck off to USA for a stint, i dont think even ASH would be able to defend "The Man" in that event.

I havent read him say his relocating to USA before so that was my inital reaction but if its all smoke and mirrors he can get farrrrrrkkkkkkkked. One hopes Anthony is starting to realise he isnt going to have much of a legacy in boxing and as such he is making an effort to relocate himself and get in the mix.

Always has been and will continue to be "All **** And Wind" he has been a nobody in the USA for many years and him turning up at 35 will not change how they feel about his manipulated and dodgey career, they do not respect him over there and dont think they ever will.

As if he's going to go, he's trying to sell his fight against hood, that and he's probably upset that there is a lot of hype about green outboxibg a legitamate opponent

Mundine has wasted the opportunities he had and no one cares anymore. Bring on the lucky punch from Wood.

It sounds like it's finally dawned on him and his team just how **** he really is and he's now realizing what most people have known for years....that he's a ****ing joke and a nobody.

    GO WOOD!!

Sorry meant wood, does wood have anything more than a punchers chance in this, & if he does win, what would mundines next move be?
