I'm talking about Haye facing the linear people's champion at an eleven inch height disadvantage...Think about it. THINK ABOUT IT. This content is protected Look at that long, LONG jab to the ribs Haye weathered. You're just not using your head, Addie. IF Haye loses to Voidimir...it's not a height issue. Voidimir is three inches taller. Not eleven. Suspect poisoning. :deal
Wladimir's advantages in size will aid his style of fighting...and therefore if Haye loses, it will largely have to do with Wladimir being both taller and sporting a longer reach. I'm not saying this is the deciding factor, only that it will unquestionably play a role. Otherwise, SNV is ****in' clown shoes.
For thought:- Alan Rudkin at his absolute best goes unbeaten in singular fights against Donaire, Montiel, Hasegawa, Rafa Marquez, Darchinyan and Mares. The best Kalambay narrowly pips the best Hagler more often than viceversa. Dean Francis would've been a standout fighter/champion of the 90s/00s if he hadn't ****ed his shoulder up so badly. Ali can't handle Louis' handspeed or a Futch assisted Holmes. Danny Williams had the ability to be an absolute worldbeater if not the discipline or selfbelief. Hopkins though great is a bully who has chiefly benefited from the basic inability of most of his opponents to handle tactics and skills that were much more commonplace back in the day. Most of his tricks wouldn't have worked half as well against several old school contender types and his attitude would have been exposed in the toughest eras. Jose Legra goes undefeated in a three fight series at feather with Barrera, Morales and Marquez. Carlos Ortiz is without doubt an all time top three lightweight. Not to say that I agree 100% (if at all) with all of this.
Proof that most people don't know **** about boxing. 53 consecutive title defenses of the linear people's championship. Never done before, never will be done again. Deal with it.
Too many People don't like fighters they didn't discover or follow in their own time, ie someone they feel has been forced on them through months of reading a boxing forum. This develops prejudice, and seriously hampers the angle at which they view the fighter from when they finally do get around to watching some fights. I pity the fools.
Tin, this kid doesn't have the attention span to read a long post straight through. He couldn't even digest my last signature's stats: This content is protected If he could, he wouldn't be insulting the GOAT.
Just to clear this up. Francis and Williams are both modern blokes both of whom I liked very much. Holmes came after Ali. Ortiz came well after Gans and Leonard and I'd like nothing more than to see someone put him at the top of the lightweight list however unlikely it may be. Kalambay came after Hagler. Plus I said that I didn't necessarily agree with all of the statements. They were more to provoke debate then anything. Don't reckon I'm too far off the mark with half of the points though.
addie saw someone go against barrera and fighters closly related to him and all logic went out the window.:good
