Many of today's fighters, who aren't greats, would give tough fights to many of the great fighters of the past in their weight classes, simply based on being bigger men due to weigh-in rule changes.
PBF beats DLH in his prime if he neautralized the left hand. DLH in his prime was not very good at knowing what to do with his right hand. He was called a one handed puncher. HOWEVER, if Floyd got comfortable and took a risk as he used to take them, all it would take would be one left hook by DLH. In those days DLH turned every fight around when he landed that hook. This is why people still call into play the Quartey fight. I would say it would be similar with Floyd, a large punch to turn around the fight. I would say DLH by KO in the 8th. But very competitive with Floyd in the lead up until that point.
Sugar Ray Robinson is not my #1 all time P4P. Pernell Whitaker and Benny Leonard are a head of him on my list.
Golota beat Byrd in their "draw". If they had fought when they were belt-holders, Ruiz would have beaten Vitali and Byrd.
Tell that to a Wlad nuhugger, they will give you every excuse in the book why he hit the deck 11 times and been TKO'd 3 times.:yep
