You are another guy with a problem. You keep hugging you Hatton avatar and act as if you know what you are talking about...here's the problem, Zag beat the hell out of Lacy:tired .....and Floyd, well he beat Hatton.
1. Almost agree, I would rate him top 10 or 15 head to head, definately top 5 on talent. 2. I agree. 3. I agree. 4. I agree. 5. Disagree (perhaps by his nuthuggers he is, but everyone has them). 6. I agree.
Great! DLH almost beat the prime Floyd, so it's conceivable that a prime DLH was better than the prime Floyd! I'm glad you posted on this because alot of the Floyd guys think he's King Kong. Fact is, he needs to stay in his little skinny niche.:bart He is a good dancer, though.:mj
As for my own, I think Jersey Joe Walcott is overrated. I think DLH would beat A LOT of great welterweights, and every 140lber. I think DLH would destroy a prime Chavez. Not KO, but really lay the hurt on him. Will think of more...
-The Heavyweight version of Jones that fought Ruiz would've given Ali problems. Just Ali though, not many other great HW's. -Pernell Whitaker was better than Willie Pep. And not just in a head to head sense, in terms of overall ATG ranking. -Paul Williams would beat Floyd Mayweather. -The Cotto/Mosley fight wasn't especially close, Cotto clearly won by a decent margin. -Ike Williams would've beaten Duran at LW Perhaps I'll think of more later.
I think Calzaghe is only undefeated b/c he has been hiding in a weak 168 division where fighters like Jeff Lacy(bum) and Kessler(very good but predictable) been dominate over the same opponents or level of comp. Wait a minute..this is not even far fetched. LOL
Also I think Hatton stunned Mayweather with a shot I think in round 2 or 3. He landed a good left hook that stunned him very briefly. Mayweather landed a huge right hand on him and clinched immediately when he normally would of pushed off and followed up with another shot b/c Hatton was hurt by that punch. Just a kudo for Hatton.
(Donning my flame proof suit) : -DLH beat Mayweather by a point -Hopkins-Wright was a draw -Wright beat Simon by 3 points -Rosario beat Camacho by 3 points -Alvarez beat Lopez by a point in fight 1 and drew with Lopez in fight 2 -Duran-Barkley was a draw -Hearns-Hill was a draw -Ramirez beat Arguello by a couple of points -Ramirez beat Rosario in both fights -DLH won two rounds against Sturm
Now you are just insane. DLH shoe shined about 4 rounds. That fight was a close but clear loss for him. His punches did not hurt sturm but he was landing. Sturm loses for not being able to KO an ODH with a pot belly and girdle. ODH could not of beat Floyd by a point. I would LOVEEE to see your score card. The nutjobs are out of the bag on this thread.
-Manny Pacquiao would have gotten KO'd if he ever fought Corrales at 135 -Frazier beat a prime Ali in the "fight of the century" -Majority of todays top Heavyweight would have beaten Marciano, Joe Louis and other champs of that Era. -RJJ ranks higher than both Hopkins and James Tony on the ATG list. -Calzaghe will win a shut out against Hopkins -Peter won the first fight against James Tony -Prime Tyson would beat a prime Frazier
