What are some controversial fights (whether it was close or clear robbery) that you can think of that you're afraid to admit your favorite fighter lost clearly?

    Joe Louis: Walcot I
    Manny Pacquiao: JMM III
    James Toney: Tiberi, McCallum II
Ricardo Lopez: Alvarez I (very close but I thought Lopez was lucky to get a draw in that fight)

My favourite fighter is Bruno but I don't think he had any controversial victories.

I do think haye beat valuev and froch beat dirrell (used to think froch beat Kessler but it's not my current opinion).

I used to quite like Valero but he never saw the final bell.

I was a follower of Pascal back in the day as well and I think he lost to Hopkins but beat pitman.

I once scored JMM-Pacquiao 2 in favor of Manny, because I was trying to be generous to Manny and gave him the 7th, which for me is the closest swing round. But that was one out of like 12 times.

I also seem to have this weird thing where I score all of DLH's controversial decisions for him, even though he might just make it into my top ten favorites (and after my top 5 it gets sort of arbitrary). Sturm, Quartey, Whitaker, Mosley 2. I look down and before I know it I have it 116-112 for most of them.

Good example and interesting trend. Roy Jones is my favorite and hes too busy getting knocked the **** out to win any decisions now.

Duran is probably number two and I can't think of any really controversial wins on his part, same goes with micky ward

Yeah good shout. Although when I watched that I was at uni and it was right in the midst of Hatton mania. Seeing him drop him in the opening round was awesome. From then on it just seemed like a close war that Hatton was edging.

Don't think I ever watched it since.

actually jones' last fight vs the polish fighter, i though jones lost. i wouldn't call it a robbery because there was nothing going on the for first half of the fight but i had the polish fighter ahead by 3 points.

Holmes-McCall. I thought the judges were very accurate with giving the fight to McCall by 1 point. I had the same score, but I've seen many others score the fight for Holmes.

Mosley-Cotto. When I watched it the first time I had it 7-5 for Mosley. The 2nd time I watched it, I had it 6-5-1 for Cotto. Great fight.

No it wasn't. And Sturm is one of your favourite fighters? Clay Davis would have summat to say about that.

Marvin Hagler lost to Ray Leonard. That's taken a while. Feel better about it.

In some ways, I feel that Larry Holmes lost to Carl Williams.

MAB lost to JMM. It's pretty much a fact, really.

He also lost to Jones in the rematch. No question in my mind.
