Awful resume for a 10 title defence world champion. He may beat everyone else except AJ and Fury but there’s one thing saying it and another thing proving it. I could honestly see Ruiz or Povetkin knocking him out. Usyk could school him as well.

He made a career of avoiding top opponents so nobody knows if he could actually beat anyone world class. Ortiz is good but not really world class I think, he’s like Pulev, a top 10 contender but not much else really. Joshua gets less credit for beating Povetkin whereas Ortiz is hyped up as a boogieman who only Wilder had the courage to fight. Povetkin is levels above the old man.

What do you guys think? Agree disagree? Discuss.

I didn’t expect you to agree. Lot of truth to it though.

Wilder was never elite. And his crashing and burning from here on out is going to be quite the spectacle. I look forward to it.

    No he isn't. You're right.

He'd lose to Usyk, Joshua, Fury again, and maybe Ruiz, Hunter and Parker.

After coming off such a devastating loss, it's hard to rank him top three.

I can honestly say, having followed boxing since 1975, that I don't agree with anything in your inital post. (LOL)

But go ahead. I'm sure this thread will be filled the "usual" suspects to bash Wilder.

Isn't the "Biggest fight in UK history" approaching? But, apparently there is so little interest in it we're still getting "Wilder Sucks, Right Guys?" threads.

I never saw people put so much effort for YEARS into trying to convince people that a fighter who everyone likes watching fight (apparently even them, because they watch all his fights) is no good.

By the way, if you change the title to "Butterbean beats Wilder" ... you'll get the exact same posts.

It's the same thread over and over. I'll pass. I just spent two days trying to convince someone Bonecrusher wasn't a better puncher than Foreman.

    I don't have the energy.

If Fury didnt damage him permanently, I still pick him over Joshua to win by KO.

Maybe top 5, that's if he hasn't retired after that beating and mental breakdown.

In terms of skills, no. But in the heavyweight division thats not all that matters. His power is what bails him out in almost every situation wheres hes found himself down on the scorecards. And imo theres not very many HW in the world that i would bet on to make it 12 with Wilder, so given those circumstances id say hes possibly still a top 3 HW behind Fury And Joshua.

If you can crack you have a good chance of knocking him out to be fair. He’s chinny and got poor defence.
