Whilst i scored the fight a draw, and couldn't really see the fight being scored objectively if either fighter was scored as winning by more than 1 round, that was a very entertaining fight. Mendoza is tough as nails, early on in the fight Lacy was landing some big bombs on Mendoza and he would just shrug them off and continue doing his thing. I feel bad for Mendoza as the scores other than 95-95 didn't really give him the credit he deserved, first time i've seen him fight and he looked like a real warrior. I'm not sure where to now for Lacy, but i will be dissapointed in Jermaine Taylor if he still fights him. Unless its more of a tuneup fight for him and he doesn't wait another millenium before getting in the ring with some serious top contenders. IMO anyone with quick hands will catch Lacy coming in all night long and murder him. Edison Miranda vs Jeff Lacy anyone? :bbb
