No Pisstakes. I think Michael Buffer is a great pre-fight announcer, hes top 2 in the world. LGR2R is godly...however, I cant stand how he announces the winner a lot(maybe even most) of the time. For example when he announces Khan as a winner, I don't like the he emphasises the King bit, he loses the momentum and it sounds lame. Same with Pacquiao, it really annoys me. Maybe its an American thing, they enjoy it? Also, I can understand(not agree with though) how the judges scored Lara-Williams to Paul. Anyone else...?
I don't like when Buffer lamely announces the surname as he seems to do more and more. Wladimir Klitschkoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Sounds like he's losing his balls. I liked the old style announcement.
:deal It's no good, he loses the momentum, he should build to a sharp crescendo, so the crowd can erupt and celebrate, like Jimmy did for GG-JDG. Buffer hogs it too much.
Sergio Martinez is overrated. Anselmo Moreno, pending on how many rate him, is possibly the most overrated fighter in the sport. Mark Johnson is one of the H2H best flyweights ever. Hugo Cazares wouldn't beat Cristian Mijares, and probably not Omar Narvaez. Cristian Mijares is one of the best super-fly's ever as it stands. Fernando Montiel is one of the smartest fighters I've seen in recent years.
Whats controversial about that, he did stop Barrera, but his corner jumped in the ring to prevent it being official imo:thumbsup
