The gloves played a part in Naseem's defeat to Barrera IMO and it was proved when he didn't do his over the rope flip when he entered the ring!!

Even though Barrera won the trilogy, I still reckon Morales won the 2nd fight and is the better fighter!!

Not beating Joe Louis and winning the World Heavyweight title then? Defending it four times, once in a defence against his future successor Joe Walcott (who he'd already beaten)?

    Beat Charley Burley x2
Clearly got better of series' with Archie Moore, Jimmy Bivins, Joey Maxim, Lloyd Marshall.

Numerous wins over contenders from Middleweight to Heavyweight.

His ability doesn't need to be argued. It's plain to see.

Apparently my controversial view is: Ezzard Charles is one of the G.O.A.T.s.

I actually think he could just about be argued out of a top ten, though I think it would have to be a conscious 'how can I do this', at least from my perspective.

Mo, I love you to bits, let me hear it :good

What a dimension it was, arguably hardest P4P puncher of all time, massive fighting heart, timing, judging of distance, combination punching, punching technique (only Joe Louis is his equal in this respect IMO) hooking off the jab yadda yadda yadda.....

Jose Luis Ramirez won their fight IMO. But he was a very, very good fighter himself.

Tyson Fury is a lot better than people give him credit for. Could take over when the K-boys retire.

I may be right, I may be wrong:deal

Only opinions at the end of the day, though I believe you'll find an extended look at Charles (footage and reading about his exploits) a very rewarding experience :good

Cotto needed them 2 low blows to survive the early onslaught from Zab and won him the fight.

He had no answer and was getting seriously hurt everytime Zab landed. 2 very dangerous low blows later sees Zab gassing from them. Cotto needed the breaks he got from Mercante. It can not be denied that them low blows changed the fight dramtically. Either way Zab showed the blueprint.
