Watch Boudanni's fight with Norris, sad to see how far Norris had fallen, just wasnt anywhere near himself in that fight.

His resume isn't great (average contenders and faded 'greats') and the two best guys in their prime he fought.....oh, yeah, sparked him.

Quality fighter, don't get me wrong! I love watching him fight, and when he gets going he was very aesthetically pleasing.

But in the grand scheme of things, I think he maybe gets too many plaudits based on his flash.

Reid looked very good against Boudouani. Showed an excellent jab, foot movement and positioning, and did very well to keep the Frenchman off him for the majority of the fight. Those compubox numbers were strange, I though. In a lot of rounds it looked like Reid was really getting the better of Boudouani, yet the numbers stated that Reid was on the short end of the statistics. Strange. I think Reid has an underrated short left hook on the inside, it's not a power punch, but it lands well and can be fired in from close range effectively. If Reid could improve in any area, from what I saw there, it would be to work the body more, and try and use angles more frequently, it would have added to his game IMO if he threw in some more varied movement (it's mostly just back and forward for him). Good performance though, Boudouani was clearly a tough fighter and a smart one too, so for Reid to display such good athleticism and win dominantly like he did is commendable.

That said, Reid did have a nice, long right to the body. That was a fairly effective shot.

9th round: great combo and left hook from Reid. 10th: the frog comes back with a hard right.

    Good fight I thought.

Reid is one of those fast, athletic, aesthetically pleasing fighters that is hard not to find exciting.

    Edit: Like Terry Norris :yep
