Barerra / Hamed wasn't quite the schooling that a lot of people make it out to be.

I agree with that. Naz got clearly beaten but some people take it too far with the "schooling" and "embarrassed" stuff IMHO.

Antonio Tarver had Roy Jones' number

James Toney was a fat, lazy, overrated bum

Tommy Hearns could have been the best middleweight of all time

    Morales > Barrera

I have Frazier at 8, and would always have him above The Rock.

    :good

    :deal agree 100%

Only Naz haters make out it was a schooling. Dan being the most evocative of the statement you made gaz.

IMO Barrera won quite convincingly but lets remember Naz wan't quite there in that fight and had a strange build up just before they entered the ring (think he was whinging bout his gloves iirc).

Naz should of manned up and took a rematch tho instead of bowing out with ud against a limited opponent. :good

Another point from me is that this site has too many huggers to posters on here. Bellew gets bigged up far too often and so too Arnie as a trainer, when imo he is a poor trainer and nowhere near as good as Joe G.

It feels like I get singled out for calling a spade a spade. I dont rate Bellew and never have, I said so from the start and always said Clev would dominate him. Got pelted for saying that and only now is teh tide changing in my favour.

Gavin is a lazy fighter who doesn't put the effort in, his last fight with the wieght issue was a shocker. He's quoted as saying 'i'm not going to struggle to make 140, why should i kill myself to make the weight, im a 147 fighter'. He then wins a sd against woodhouse and says 'i'm going down to 140'. Why did he contradict himself when in reality he knew he was taking the **** in training. Just for the record, theophane beats him.

I agree with that 100%, Gavin is fat at 147 and lacks any power whatsoever. He could probably make 135 if he wasn't lazy. He will be the biggest wasted British talent in modern times.

Rafael Marquez would beat Donaire, so would Agbeko.

Totally. To be honest you can tell he's not the most intelligent of folks and I think this will prove his downfall.

He's a crafty fighter in the ring with sublime skills and that southpaw stance obviously helps him. But he just doesn't have any pop in his shots, they hurt obviously but he hasn't got true punch power that ko's an opponent properly.
Gavin needs to change everything and up sticks imho, a move to america would suit him well but Frank wont want a repeat of a prospect leaving him just before they hit the big-time i.e Khan.

Just get him training with Tibbs or Mcracken. No need to move to USA. Just needs to get a kick up the arse.
