If he stayed off the Ching and cakes, I agree 100%, same goes for Dokes and 'Spoon IMO, Holmes' era is pretty underrated IMO.

This is a shickong era for HWs. Those guys were extremely talented but unfortunately came along in the era of excess.

Mike Weaver's record is ugly, but he'd probably beat most of the heavies around today. A real tough and awkward customer. I reckon he'd have a reasonable chance against Wladimir Klitschko.

Not controversial I think alot of people would agree with you including me, its a shame as it gives certain fighters a false sense of abilty... because of the backward rules of amateur boxing.
