Controversial stoppages you thought should've been stopped sooner?

That was ridiculous probably the worst refereeing I ever saw. I always thought Alex Garcia would go farther in his career than he did.

 

Same. He showed good power early on. He had a decent run until his chin failed him in that upset loss to Mike Dixon. I was pulling for that guy to get one of the belts, but he just didn't have the punch resistance to get it done.

 

From memory I think I felt that Tszyu vs Miguel Angel Gonzalez should’ve been stopped sooner - already having established itself as a one way brutal beat down for several rounds prior.

Holmes vs Ali should’ve been stopped sooner either by the ref or Ali’s corner. Pathetically, no one did **** until Herbert Muhammad gave his “approval”. Even then, the “hanger on” Bundini still protested the stoppage when Dundee officially called it.
