The funny thing is there are still people who believe floyd isnt really that relevant. Love him or hate him what cant be denied is he has built a brand that works.

I estimated this fight to do 1.4-1.8 but now with this new tid bit of info i don't know wut to think (2.25+) that would be tremendous leverage for a pac fight specially considering pac marquez imho wont come close to those numbers.

Some of you need to understand is not every single individual in the world spends every waking moment they have on the internet. There are people who get all there news/sports information from their TV sets. And the sports news channels have only shown bits and pieces of the fight here and there.

The word on this PPV is:

It was a very good undercard and the main event was a very good fight up until the controversial ending.

So if your a person who like's boxing but doesn't go running to the internet to search for footage then this is considered a steal considering it probably cost cheaper. I know people that don't really mess around on the internet much other than reading their emails. I know people who can't afford it but have cable TV. Everybody doesn't live their lives the same way.

It's always great when a boxing PPV brings in the big bucks.

Side Note: Maybe this will lead to Larry Merchant getting his ass cussed out on live television more often. That can never be a bad thing.:good

Manny better pray to god that his PPV comes through, because Mayweather and GB put on a beautifully marketed card. I mean how can you get better than a card on the eve of Mexican independence featuring a Mexican boxing legend looking to make history, a Mexican superstar in the making, and a Mexican superstar who just took a title in dramatic fashion against the man that everyone loves to hate.

Lol I was talking about Anderson Silva in class today with my friend who does MMA and this girl chimes in that I talk to and says "Are you talking about that fight last saturday?" I just go along with it and say yeah and she goes on talking about it and how Manyweather cussed out the "referee guy" :rofl:rofl

I can tell she never watched a live fight before, but she saw this

Floyd looks at Schaefer, Schaefer gives him a stern nod, Floyd goes off on Merchant for no reason and the whole world is talking about it after. I watched it again today, and I have no doubt that was scripted

There's a difference between drama and circus acts. The headbutts were the only illegal acts committed in the Floyd-Ortiz fight. But at least justice was served when the ref penalized Ortiz for it. Try not to ruin the sport for others. If you don't like it then watch something else. There are a ton of other sports for you to follow.

We all want a fight to be as professional as possible. But we are watching a fight and when emotions and passion run high, fighters will do things they regret. As long as the referee is there to penalize fighters for rule infractions then it should be fine. We should really be upset with fights like Lara-Williams and Mares-Agbeko. Those are the kind of fights that truly hurt the sport.

Which provider is selling this "post" ppv?

I do not know of an encore presentation. Encore presentations are only done for werstling and occasional mma.

Unless a legit provider is confirmed, I call this BS :tired

i watched both pac-clottey and floyd-ortiz on the cinema. but who the hell would order a boxing match which turned out to be a wrestling event and you actually knew what would happen? this smacks the integrity of the sport and places it on par with those scripted WWE story lines.
