A lot of posts about Ali vs Norton III, but what about Ali vs Young? Young outboxed the shyte out of Ali in that fight. If he rightfully got the nod, the history of heavyweight boxing would definitely be different.

Jimmy Young gets a well-deserved decision from Muhammad Ali. Then what champion gets more recognition in the Norton fight. He wins the rematch with Ali because time is running in his favor. He will probably lose to Holmes in a close fight but at the end of the day he is a boxer with an impressive resume - Ali, Foreman, Norton, Lyle. He is easily top 5 or maybe even top 3 if we just don't watch his fights too much.

I wonder if Sumbu Kalambay makes the hall of fame if he gets the decision in the rematch with McCallum, which could have gone either way. McCallum likely still picks up a LHW title and makes the hall of fame as a champion at three weights, so Kalambay would be a two-time world champion who has two victories over a hall of famer and quite a few other strong wins. Maybe he'd be the one to land the almost-a-unification fight with Toney and impress people there.
