Spot on mate, no-one knows the crazy methods that AA did to try and make the weight at Super-Feather. As world champ if you get tagged like Cook did off Martinez the first thing you do is clinch as much as you can and try and see the round out. He stupidly fought fire with fire. Fighter's pride and all that but to me, utter stupidity.

Unfortunetly both a below world title level and are lucky to be with a promoter who can mask the fact and get them to world title opportunities. Gutted for Cook but not surprised. He can come back and hopefully have a decent career at Euro level.

He was found out long before last night when Steven Luevano outclassed him prior to Cook outworking Arthur.

He did well to win a world title but wasn't quite good enough to hang onto it.

Shame really 'cos he's a neat boxer with good fundamentals.

Agreed. Cook ain't world class. But will he want to back down to Euro level. I wouldn't be too shocked to see a money-match with Mitchell on the undercard of Khan's next fight. Fans would want to see it. Either that or takes some bucks and moves to lightweight for a fight with Khan.

He fought the wrong fight thats all,he let the fella get on the front foot and neglected using his straight left.He could have won that fight and should have, but as soon as he let the fella get off the back foot it was a different fight totally. He'll kick himself when realizes what he's done/thrown away.

Arthur would have beat Cook if he wasnt weight drained, I've never held Cook in high regards at world level, he is strictly European level in my eyes.
