Thanks for posting great stuff. Lou was born less than a block away from where I was born. Walked past a plaque dedicated to him every morning going to school. Tremendous athlete, probably could of became a great prize fighter had he applied his gifts to that sport at an early age.
Joyous, goofy, excellent comraderie. Great if there was sound. Two legends. Poignant to see Gehrig strong, handsome, so happy in '35. A really class act.
