I hold Tunney in high regard, he was such a great fighter in any era including this one, and for him to lose to Greb and not only him, but ATG puncher Dempsey respected Greb that is all the proof you need. He's being compared to lightweights speedwise, ffs! He was basically Rj before Rj was around, but probably the most highly skilled brawler that ever lived. I'll take Tunney's, Dempsey's, McLarnin's among others word for it than a keyboard warlord's claims weight and size matters and thats why they have weight divisions rant. Tell that to Greb, SRL, Duran, Langford, and other giant slayers.

there's enough footage of the legends that he beat and enough accounts from those legends, other top fighters of the day who saw him, newspapers, experts of the time etc...to determine without a doubt that Greb was one of the greatest to ever to do it.

As odd & silly-looking as this is, folks should note that it's obviously NOT a real sparring session.

There's no ring, they have no protective gear on, and they both look over at the camera several times, with smiles on their faces.

It was obviously just some quickly thrown-together publicity thing, with them mugging for the camera. They probably weren't even warmed up, which is why they weren't throwing real punches.

Sad that this is all the footage we have. It's almost worse than having nothing.
