He's from here where I live.He used to train other refs at my Gym and used to ref my sparring sessions for class.Nice to see him get the assignment.I still see him around often.He does our local cards.
Hubert did a quality job. I hardly noticed he was there. He set the tone early by warning at the first sight of rabbit punching. He wasn't going to take any crap.
I would love to see him ref future matches... Also on a side note, since its kinda a ref thread... steve smoger did a good job as usual, loved how he kept saying zabie lol... anyways... if he gets more shots to ref the big time i can see him becoming one of my fav refs... right now its steele and smoger.
