LOL at how people are getting carried away because Mosley looked fast...it takes more than just speed to win fights. And let's not forget that Floyd was faster too when we was younger at 130, and he dominated Hernandez too in a real fight to win his 1st championship.

Floyd is just a superior fighter than Shane and he proved it in the ring.

 

He's a superior fighter right now. This isn't Shane's era anymore. Had that been a prime Shane? Floyd would have been knocked the **** out.

Its kind of funny how people want to say that Mosley was shot against Mayweather, because of how he looked in the Mayorga fight, yet prior to fighting Mayweather, DLH blasted out Mayorga, and yet people still said he was old and shot when he loss to Mayweather.

There are always excuses whenever Mayweather beats someone.

 

If Mosley wasn't pushing 40, I would say you're right, but people have been saying he was well past it since the Cotto fight which BTW was 3 years ago. I just love how the same people who say ODLH was shot (which he was) turn around and act like a near 39 yr old Mosley is in his prime. I'm not taking anything away from Floyd, he is the best P4P fighter in the world but just like too much is made of Pac beating ODLH, too much is made about this win, which was good.

i actually meant to say mosley-mayorga. the fact is, other than the margarito fight, mosley hasn't looked impressive since getting beaten to a pulp by forrest.

Well he did have the Vargas rematch, which was a crossroads fight for both men, but aside from that, sadly you are correct. Mosley should've called it quits after beating Margo, I honestly see him losing to Cotto and Pac big, and struggling with Berto and Clottey. The Speed and reflexes just aren't what they used to be.

 

Mosley is still one hell of a fighter ..So what if Mw beat him not a bad person to lose to hell he lost to Winky and Forrest prior but he stood up and went for it ..And he beat Margarito by KO when no one ever would have thought it could of happen from Mosley ..
