Not hating on him, I just don't feel he should fight on, he has already lost to one guy he never would've lost to at his peak, and than last fight he got embarrassed, he will be 40 next year, he had a nice run but its time to hang em up. I'd hate to see him lose to someone like Berto or Clottey.
He lost no different than Marquez did to MW in his previous fight he won by KO ..Berto would not beat Mosley hell Collazo beat him and look at what Mosley did to him ..I personally feel he has about 2 fights in him .But thats up to him I to never want see any fighter hang on for too long but its not like he's had back to back devistating losses now ..But his age is a factor I wont disagree there ..
Berto didn't lose to Collazo, he won 7-5, As for Mosley he lost to Cotto due to age, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if the much younger and faster Berto, scrapped by an ancient Mosley. Mosley has not had back to back devastating loses but he has shown considerable decline over the last 5 years. He may wanna have a goin away fight in his hometown or somethin, but unless he is desperate for money he shouldn't fight on much longer.
The most noticeable thing I saw in this fight fight which Emmanuel Steward caught from the opening bell, was Shane's lack of snap and coordination on his punches. His punches looked rubbery. Once Floyd began to take over you could tell his reflexes were totally gone too. It was frustrating to watch because you knew a younger Mosley would have been letting the punches fly. Where were the body punches? the Left hooks? Combinations? What a disappointing fight that could have been great.
