Ok i have seen this posted on a couple of other sites and it appeals to me so i was hoping to get some of the views of the best classic/history forum members on the net Taking Joe Louis out of history and sticking cooney in for the Braddock fight would cooney beat braddock and how would cooney fair i am not that great with louis's tittle fight victims but apart from the two max's and possibly conn are there any fighters before walcott that could of beaten cooney or would cooney of been a long reigning and loved champion
I think Cooney beats Bradock, does Cooney then keep his dedication or still become an alcoholic? Cooney at his best may hang onto that title for a long time
I'm not sure he beats Braddock. Braddock might even knock him out in a 15-round title fight. Not that Braddock was much good, but he was tough.
