Cooney VS Bob Foster

Who wins? I’d say Foster by a early KO.

 

Foster,because of his build, could not take big punching heavies shots.Cooney's hook to the body would cut him in half.imo.

 

Foster was too skinny at heavyweight.

 

If Foster hits Cooney flush he would knock him out. Now if Foster doesn’t land yeah ok Cooney would take him. Cooney had a glass jaw

 

Cooney would knock Foster out at heavyweight.

 

Bob would have a great chance if making 175lbs weakens Gerry too much.

That's his only chance. Far greater fighter. Far lesser heavyweight.

 

Bob was no Chuvalo at heavyweight.

 

Foster gets stopped in the same fashion, as Cooney stopped Norton imo.
It would be short and brutal, leaving Foster going down that black tunnel.

 

Cooney would knock Foster's head off in devastating fashion

 

Foster would get knocked out of the ring.

 

You think so, I don't quite see it ending in that manner, or if it did then for me Foster would be the man on the canvas, but you pays your money, and takes your choice. stay safe buddy.

 

Cooney was too big, Foster was very frail at heavyweight.

 

While there are serious questions surrounding the performance of both these men, against the best heavyweights of their day, Cooney did beat some credible opponents.

He should be favored on this alone.
