Copper box arena to announce deal with major promotor

    Seems strange that an arena would make a deal with just one promoter, unless its a sweetener to the hearns for missing out on the olympic stadium :yep, either way this could become the new home of British boxing. it looks like a tight venue that could make for a good atmosphere and it's easily accessible :good

    I only know of one smaller arena that has an exclusive with a promoter. I would doubt that it would be the case here.

    Maybe after the wembley bill he needs a smaller arena.

    was frank once involved in building an arena at 1 time?? possibly late 80s

    I've a feeling it might be GBP. Trying to snap up all the Olympic talent, makes for good marketing.

    Least the back row would still be fairly close to the ring, O2 is ****ing ridiculously far away

    It's not a bad idea - it gives people a regular place to go, familiar facilities, etc.
