I swear some people some people DKSAB.

It is well documented that Fraud Runawayther did not want ANY part of Corrales. Corrales had been pushing for that fight to no avail. He then made it known he was moving up in weight after fighting Manfredy. This was also about the time that he was arrested for domestic abuse. Suddenly the Runawayther camp comes calling. Corrales figuring he could still comfortably make weight, agreed to the fight. So now we have a weakened Corrales, who is facing serious jail time, fighting in a fight he should have not agreed to due to the weight issues and legal issues he was facing.

Having said that, I am not saying he would have won, but I don't think a healthy and focused Corrales would have tasted the canvass five times. One can clearly see that Corrales was never hurt by the KOs, but rather he had no legs under him.

Pac's win also comes up short. Barrera had to leave Big Bear because of a wildfire that messed with his training schedule and location. Plus, word had leaked that he had some sort of head injury that needed surgery. It turned out to be some veins had somehow intertwined, or something like that. Anyhow, both of those wins were tainted.

So it's come to this has it.

Corrales is the finest victory of "the best ever"?

    Has boxing devolved this much?

Weight drained and going to jail right? That's your story, you sticking to it? .....ok lets fast forward to 2012, Mayweather-Cotto, wasn't Floyd going to jail for the same reasons as Chico? Wasn't Floyd fighting out of his weight class against a bigger, stronger, accomplished opponent? The difference is Floyd still won, no excuses necessary...come May 2nd this trend will continue, the only fans making excuses will be Pac fans

I consider Genaro Hernandez his greatest victory, the first title is nearly always the best. Floyd did not and has never won a vacant title like pacquiao has on many occasions, Floyd has always beat the reigning champion of every division he's been in! That in case you don't know is part of what makes an ATG!

If you are not one of those type of Pac fans then my apologies, my post is directed only at the whiny excuse making fan base.

how about puting MAB titles defenses per title hold and concecitively not adding them all together.. at 130-35 hernandez would have beaten the smaller barerra imo..

He's won the majority of his major world title fights from the reigning champ.

    WBC Flyweight - Sasakul
    IBF Super Bantam - Ledwaba
    WBC Super Featherweight - Marquez
    WBO Welterweight - Cotto
    WBC Lightweight - Diaz

If you count the The Ring title - Barerra , Hatton at FW/JWW

The only major titles he won that were vacant were the WBC LMW title and The Ring Title when he fought Margarito and Marquez.

5/6 or 7/9 (if you include The Ring title) of his major titles he won from the champion. Not exactly 'many' there.

In terms of minor titles, he's only won 3 vacant minor titles:
    - WBC International Super Bantamweight
    - WBC International Super Featherweight
    - WBO International Welterweight

    The rest:
    IBO - Hattion
    OBPF - Chockvivat

    1/6 Major titles - vacant or 2/9
    3/5 Minor titles - vacant
    4/11 or 5/14

    Not exactly a whole lot.

I'm not talking about a H2H matchup. I'm just comparing title legacy.

    Alright then. WBO Super Bantamweight 1st reign = 8 defenses 2nd reign = 2 defenses 3rd reign = 3 defenses. Happy?

^^^I think mayweather easily beating corrales is not tainted just because of the stuff i just mention and plus as you say barrera had to leave camp cause of a huge fired and the steel plate in his head before facing pacquiao back in 2003.
