    He had very few fights and the majority of those were very short.

    It's hilarious how at 6 foot 1 he dwarfs his contemporaries... even sitting down.

    Goldman sounds more punchy than Jim!:lol:
    Its interesting that its commented that the 1942 Gentleman Jim film was made 9 years after Corbett's death in 1933, yet there are quotes attributed to Corbett and Choynski as they supposedly watched the fight scenes for the film!
    Obviously they did not happen! Thanks for posting this and it was good to see clips from the Gentleman Jim film in which I think Ward Bond as Sullivan was excellent.
