I have seen the orig. before and it is one of several photos that make you question Jeffries’ true height - though Corbs probably standing on a bit higher ground - some pics Jeff can look 6’1 1/2” but others not so tall. I know Jeff was apparently measured by a physician in 1900? to be just over 6’ - which boxrec abides by but I think you can see he clearly has the edge on 6’ 1/4” Johnson in their fight - though Jeff is rarely standing straight except at the close of each round which is where I make the best comparison. Smooth Legends is a legend in his own right.

Corbett looks weirdly bigger than everyone he stands next to, including Tunney. Not sure whether it's his great posture, his haircut, if he's wearing lifts, or what.
Yeah, he also looked clearly taller in separate photos with Dempsey, Schmeling and Babe Ruth. Possibly closer to 6’1 1/2 (on occasion was listed as such) or approaching 6’2”? You’re right - he did have excellent posture even into older age. Always looked taller than just 3” next to John L IMO, could be one of those people who makes sure to stand on the higher ground also in order to stand above all in photos - believe me they exist.
