corkscrew punches to the body ?

    i am wondering if they are useful going to the body seen as they offer more protection,

    i mean the likes of straight punches corkscrewing into the body

    Actually the proper 'corkscrew' is an old punch which was used alot and I personally use alot. It is usually thrown from underneath and works better vs opposite stanced opponents. Naseem used it alot with his right and works well.

    As far as body.. not really. If you're going to work the body you got you engage with a gap closer and whip the floating ribs. A corkscrew doesn't really fit well for that and the protection isn't as good as you'd presume.

    Oh and stop watching that shite boxing channel. You're better off just posting over here and get opinions on what to work on
