This is question if floyd and marg fought and marg just walked through floyds shot do u think floyd will get flustered and try something out of character which would allow Margarito maybe to cause a upset.

 

your right a boxer was hurt in a fight for a few seconds and recoverd, that automatically means he'd lose to margarito, pac man, and paul williams. this is a spot on observation that clearly mayweather would lose all three of those fights..

come on man.. if anything it shows mayweather can take a punch and recover..

 

That is true because hatton in the 8th and had him stunned and then came back with a fearsome combination. Floyd skills are unmatched but would he get annoyed if his chopping right and his slashing left hook weren't having a desired effect on marg.

 

What are you on about! After the Corley fight Floyd fought bigger and more powerful fighters like Gatti, Judah, Baldo and DLH.

How the hell can Floyds skills be at question against big guys when his skills have made him a 5 weight champion!

but going back to corley - floyd, for me its like torres - cotto (round 2 especially). if you're a top fighter these moments shape you immensely if you pull through them and it's part of being better than the rest.

the mental game in boxing is supremely important, but you can feel like superman if you show the fortitude to come back from these sorts of moments.

i'm talking from experience of course, and it does a fighter more good than not to have these moments on his path of self-discovery...which is really what it's about.

floyd isn't superman because, despite his talk, he's never proved it the way he said he would.

but.. the million dollar question with floyd - margarito is IF margo can walk through floyd's shots and pin him and hurt him enough to make more of a difference before he (margarito) is hurt himself.

 

corleys left and right is far from striaght it is quite looping. i caught him on the temple. and floyd recoverd pretty fast from that.

pac punches are straight and to the point. which makes him seem faster. even when on his toes and bouncing him comes in straight. PBF eats guys like that up. PBF would side step him and and catch him of balance might take the first 5 rounds to time him but he'll bet it done . pac right is good but PBF left hook will connect first. you are severley underestimating PBF . you need to watch more then one fight and more then a few rounds

 

I think the key to the marg v floyd fights is the defense of floyd if its sound then i'll expect him to win by decision because ultimately the cleaner work will come from floyd.
