    Boza-Edwards did destroy a few prospects -

    * John 'The Heat' Verderosa
    * Pedro Laza
    * Guy Villegas
    * Blaine Dickson

    Villegas was supposed to be the next Ray Mancini....he was even signed by Phil Allessi who promoted Boom Boom. Boza- Edwards halted that train's momentum.

    Cornelius Boza-Edwards,

    February 27, 1983 (Las Vegas)

    Looked awesome in destroying (KO 9) 'The Hot Prospect from Florida' - Pedro 'The Magician' Laza.

    Pedro Laza came in with a record of 26-1-0 (12 KO's), and had been part of
    Cuban National Boxing Team in the late-1970's, before defecting to Florida.

    Pedro was ranked as the {#7 Super-Featherweight}, and was looking to bump-off
    the so-called 'fading' Boza-Edwards from the Super-Featherweight rankings.
